The Italian Association of Victims of Road has advanced over the years to the highest offices of State to make official UN Day of Remembrance of Road Traffic Victims, because memory is a warning for prevention and to honor the victims of a war adequately dealt with, that on our roads continues to leave dead and permanently disabled: since 2000 about 75,000 deaths and 300,000 permanent disabilities, in addition to millions of wounded. Therefore, if there azzardassimo to go 50 years back in time we might regard road carnage as the largest massacre in the history of Italy. A serious public health problem not adequately place at the political level: not just vote the law Road murder, we must do much more to prevent the traffic accident. The recognition of Remembrance of Road Victims Day will help us to take the further steps towards the prevention, in order to safeguard the value of life, of health, of truth, of justice for all, beginning with the victims because there are neither victims or defendants. Therefore welcome the decision by Mr. Emiliano Minnucci to process the bill for the establishment of Remembrance of Road Traffic Victims Day, and we would like the honorable of all political parties to sign it, thus giving proof of political maturity. And it is to strengthen this request that we ask for your signature, to make it clear to the politicians, by the force of pressure, that from them Italians expect to serious signals attention to the real problems for the defense and protection of life, the common good that it belongs to each of us.
